Full Moon Recap : Prayer Arrows

Posted | 0 comments

This past Pop Up Full Moon Yoga class concluded with a  craft. Inspired by Ruby Warrington and this post she wrote on The Numinous – we finished our calming moon salutations and started making prayer arrows.

After savasana we transitioned into writing a note of gratitude on a piece of brown tissue paper, and then scribed a prayer, a wish, or an intention for ourselves, someone else, or this world. We chose a branch (that was sourced locally from Prospect Park :) ) and wrapped the note around the twig, secured it with washi tape and colorful thread, and then added feathers, flowers, and fresh rosemary as adornments.

The best part was seeing how incredibly unique and gorgeous everyone made their own arrows. Now they exist as a way to shoot the prayer or wish out into this world. A lovely symbol + gift.

You can make your own prayer arrow anytime you’d like to send a conscious thought into the universe. Of course I’d LOVE to see what you create.

Virtual Full Moon Ceremony

Happy Full Moon!

I made a virtual full moon ceremony where you can practice gratitude, claim what you want to release, and what you want to create.

All you need is a pen and a paper, a sense of humor (as this is the first time I am doing something like this, and you’ll hear Luca babbling in the background!) Click the picture below to play the video.

At the end I share about a new offering : a mini meditation bundle!! 5 meditations – 5 minutes each – for $5.00. You can find more about that here.

Pop Up Full Moon Yoga : Recap

Posted | 0 comments

The Pop Up class was sold out – we had 16 incredible souls gather together and practice moon salutations that revolved around their mat. We honored the qualities of the moon by cultivating them within ourselves. We started with gratitude and ended in receptivity. The class ended with these words :

“The appearance of things change according to the emotions and thus we see magic and beauty in them, while the magic and beauty are really in ourselves.” – Khahil Gibran

There was connection, laughter, reflection, and softness in last night even with a glitch with the space – we rolled with it.

This picture pretty much sums it all up. There is no filter on this – it’s just a mystical blur.

Next month I will be hosting a virtual mini ceremony for the full moon, Thursday, March 5th at 5:00 pm. It will be a chance to tune into yourself and clarify and connect to your ever evolving desires.

Email leahannefox@gmail.com if you’d like to participate and say: “Count me in for the next full moon virtual ceremony!”

There will be a recording available if you cannot make that time.

With incredible amount of love and light,

Leah
