We are back in Frankfurt after a whirlwind – but sweet – four day trip to Berlin. We certainly didn’t see it all, but hopefully we will be back to pick up where we left off.
The Brandenburg Gate.
With the amount of trains, planes, and automobiles this kid has been on before the age of 1… Luca is either going to LOVE or HATE traveling.
Photo shoot at the East Side Gallery – a section of the Berlin Wall with beautiful murals covering what once divided East & West Berlin.
We ate at Katz Orange on our last night where both the meal and the view were divine. We munched on ‘hand cut french fries fried in organic goose fat’ and sipped really nice wine. Luca slept the entire meal which is always an added bonus.
There was a lot of walking, leisurely breakfasts, glasses of prosecco, coffee with real Berliners, finds at the Maurpark Flea Market, and a lunch at Hasir’s plus little flecks that reminded me of Brooklyn, which made me excited for our return in less than one month (!?).
